Better Be Local was founded with the goal of providing consumers an all-in-one platform to better find small to medium sized businesses. By doing so, locally owned, crafted and produced “Mom & Pop’s” gain greater exposure, and have a better chance against the more established chains and big businesses.
In today’s ultra competitive market local businesses need to stand out in order to compete, we hope Better Be Local becomes both a home for local business, as well as individuals looking to “Shop Local” and support businesses in their community and elsewhere.
What is Better Be Local?
Better Be Local is a place to find local businesses. It was created to help local businesses gain a wider audience. We realized more and more people wanted to Support Local but didn't know where to look for a wide selection of local businesses, so we created one.
How can I add my business to Better Be Local?

Any tips for submitting a business to Better Be Local?
Just fill out the application form as best as possible to ensure quicker approval. If you wish for your business icon/logo to be changed, email betterbelocal@gmail.com We recommend that your logo be clear, not pixelated, contain either the name of your business or a quick 1 or 2 word decription of it.
How long before I see my business up on Better Be Local?
Usually within 48 hours!
How much does it cost to list my business on Better Be Local?
It's FREE!
I don't see my city?
For right now we are adding cities to Better Be Local with which we receive the most demand from vendors and consumers. As we grow, Better Be Local will be able to add more and more cities to better serve as many people as we can.
How can I help Better Be Local grow?
The best way is word of mouth and social media. Tell a couple of your friends/family about Better Be Local, and what it is. Share on social media.
What do you hope to achieve with Better Be Local?
We want Better Be Local to be convenient for the consumer to find local businesses, and for local businesses to thrive! Currently, the way we have the site set up, is to promote the easiest of access to local businesses. Sending you directly to their website. We want the consumer to explore the local businesses within the Categories of their city. More eyes on local businesses gives them the opportunity to make more sales.
